De joven estuve un tiempo escuchando y pinchando trance, luego fue cambiando de etiqueta, hasta convertirse en algo tremendamente comercial. la escena más underground escogió el psytrance como termino diferenciador. Dj Hypnotic State es uno de sus aférrimos representantes.

Trance, hard-trance and goa were part of my youth days. Years later Grant, aka hypno for the peeps at musicdonkey.org [rip], sampler, zapp, myself and some others started what was till not long ago m-d-p.net [also rip]. hypno is now into what i think it's his invention: psybient. i asked him for a Creative Commons mix, and here it is. this is a selection of goa trance, from the metapsychic netlabel.

...I first started playing around making music in about 1987 using pro tracker on the Commodore Amiga, I soon learnt my "making music from scratch skills" were extremely lacking. I use to mix early electro as early as 1984 ( I was fourteen, me and a friend use to use three tape decks, a mic and no mixer !!! it was terrible) got my first decks in 1990, at that time I was a Student in Portsmouth studying Film and Media studies although most of the time I was trying to get as good as CJ Bolland, (Never happened) I have used CD mixers but never got on with them, went digital 6 years ago, haven't looked back...

Y yo me pregunto, Florian Filsinger es un diseñador que hace música o un músico que hace diseño? En su web pesan mucho más las referencias musicales que las gráficas, pero no tiene porque ser significativo ya que puede dedicar mucha más atención a sus devociones que a sus obligaciones, no? Volviendo al tema, politicide.net es un blog extravagante de nuevas tendencias que ocasionalmente publica mp3s, como muchos. The guy in the little club, no es un álbum coherente, es más un pupurri de ejercicios sin revisar que, curiosamente esconde pequeñas joyas. Mis dos son: Tuesday-lisalation (tranquilita) y sobre todo, Friday-thank god (it's weekend).
