SORPRESAS DENTRO DEL CAJÓN DE SASTRE: Por suerte, el mundillo de los netlabels sigue diversificando su contenido más allá de la electrónica experimental o de baile . Wm Recordings lleva 4 años ofreciendo música MUY variopinta: entre lo cómico y lo extraño. Esta selección realizada por el responsable de este netlabel, Marco Kalnenek, resume en 45 minutos el amplio espectro estilístico de uno de los netlabels más originales, justamente por eso, por su extraordinario eclecticismo.

Squeezing almost four years of WM Recordings history into a 45 minute mix is not an easy thing to do, but hopefully this mix gives at least an impression of the broad range of releases: from weird pop tunes to electronic soundscapes, and from free improvisation to electropop.

So basically, this is a rather eclectic compilation. Entertainment for the whole family!

Marco Kalnenek lives in Heerlen, in the Netherlands. He's the webmaster of Weirdomusic.com, owner of online label WM Recordings, moderator of a couple of mailing lists, collector of books and CD's, computer nerd, etc. His label WM Recordings was founded in autumn 2004 and since then has grown from strictly free releases (over 80 available right now) to include commercial releases as well. When he's not working on his websites he's watching cult tv series or reading about music.
